I’ve got nothing but great things to say about Dustin. He’s my go to guy when I need something fabricated. One project I had, I told Dustin what I wanted, and he was able to draw it out, cut it out and welded it up for me. It was a perfect fit the first time. My recent project was some crash bars for a Harley Road Glide. I showed him what I wanted, he worked his magic and made it happen. His welds are a thing of beauty! He’s got great turnaround times, super easy to deal with and reasonably priced. I’ll continue going to DLR for everything.

Had my coastal offroad bumper welded by Dustin and he went above and beyond. Kept in touch with me through the whole project and updated me with pics. Really impressed by the work he did and would not hesitate to work with him on future projects.

DLR Metalworks... leaders in quality and customer satisfaction. Dustin took on a project for me that many other shops had turned down or couldn't get to for months. Giving Dustin no more than a few photos that I pulled off of google and a brief description of my vision, he got straight to work on designing my side by side rack, and, within a month and a half, it was completed and ready for pick up. He was great at keeping me updated throughout the process with emails and photos. The attention to detail, quality, and personability that you get with DLR is unmatched.... I will definitely be working with DLR on future projects.

I first called Dustin because of the google reviews…looking for a custom built roof rack frame to mount my newly purchased awning. The problem was I had already installed a fan on my van, so I needed someone I could trust to not only build me a stable roof rack but would not bleed me dry, while coming up with a design. Not only did Dustin quote me a fair price, he also mounted my new purchased awning. I was so happy with his work and our open dialogue regarding the design of the roof rack, I decided to ask him to do another job for me. Dustin then designed and built me a bench/ bed for my very small space. The first project was a little too tall and I was unable to sit and have a beer ( hey that’s important) so he worked & redesigned it once again and I couldn’t be happier. My former bed took up way too much room, I was unable to access my sink or pots & pans when the bed was sitting up as a chair. Now with Dustin’s perseverance, I am able to fully use my great little “RV”.
I would not recommend anyone else to do your project. He is amazing and I would drive 5 hrs to have him do a job for me with out hesitation!

Amazing service, awesome product!!
This is a review for a fantastic local Edmonton custom metal works company, DLR Metalworks. I came to Dustin with an idea for a Christmas gift for my husband as he has been been wanting an indoor wood rack for our cabin. Dustin was extremely responsive with an idea and a quote and was working on the project within a day. He asked a ton of questions and was extremely knowledgeable! He worked within my budget and came up with exactly what I had envisioned for the wood rack. The product itself is perfect for what we needed in that space and my husband was very happy on Christmas morning! This was my second time working with DLR Metalworks and I will definitely be reaching out to Dustin again for projects for our cabin!

Before meeting Dustin I had been searching for a while for someone to help me bring to life very specifics pieces that I could create on. Nobody wanted to take on the job and I turned to friends, asking if anyone knew of anybody that was an honest and great welder. I am so happy a mutual friend introduced us, now Dustin is my to go guy for all my crazy ideas.

He is fantastic to work with and has great turn around time. We have a couple of projects planned and I love that he doesn't mind a good challenge!
I definitely recommend Dustin!!

If you know the pain of trying to find a good custom metalworker, you will know what I'm talking about. But Dustin at DLR took us under our wing when we needed a single stair riser created and did a fantastic job. No levelling required on these 2" maple treads. Looks amazing and we get a ton of great comments on it. Thanks so much Dustin,

Chase Denslow

Dustin does great work, and it shows in every project iv brought to him. He is happy to work outside the box to create products that aren't available anywhere else. The latest project was an off road bumper on my volvo service truck that takes some serious abuse working in the mines!

I wanted to leave my experience working with Dustin. I found DLR Metalworks while searching for after market Offroad products. It was a nice surprise to find a local fabricator that offers this service. As with most things in life, budget is a big consideration for high cost items. From my initial email, down to the delivery of my project, Dustin has been outstanding. Finalizing the project scope, planning and designing was clearly communicated throughout. Dustin offered some very insightful options and worked to complete my job, ahead of time and on budget. Due to scheduling constraints, Dustin even went as far as coming to test fit the product on my vehicle. I can honestly say I have not seen this level of service anywhere. I’m very glad to help Dustin grow his business and look forward to working with DLR again in the near future.

Overall had a great experience with Dustin. He goes the extra mile to ensure you get the best product possible. Will definitely be going back for more truck off road accessories in the future!

If you're looking for a local metal fab business that cares about the quality of their end product and offers fantastic service, Dustin is your guy! He has made us an amazing one-of-a-kind firepit that we used all summer long, a rocket stove for cooking on our winter adventures, and has helped us out with very niche projects for work that would have normally cost way more money, taken more time, and had to have been done outside of the province. He will go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right and that you're happy with what you are getting!

I recently had the pleasure of working with this metal fabrication company for a project and I must say, they exceeded all of my expectations. From start to finish, Dustin was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. The quality of their work was outstanding and they delivered the project ahead of schedule. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail and their commitment to making sure I was satisfied with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of metal fabrication services. They are truly a 5 star operation in every way!

Thank you DLR Metalworks for my custom fireplace hearth. Now we have the perfect place to store our firewood. Quality work for a great price!

My son ordered a bumper kit for his Toyota 4Runner which came in more than a dozen pieces and required the entire bumper to be welded together and assembled on the vehicle. We took it out to Dustin and he had it completed for us in a couple days. The hours quoted for the job were bang on and the quality of weld and finish was amazing!! He gave us great advice on our next steps to finishing with sandblasting and paint. Dustin provided outstanding service and quality, I would recommend DLR Metalworks to anyone requiring metal fabrication!!

Jason Luo

Dustin is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. He sent regular status updates, and was able to work with all of my stupid little changes and additions I requested along the way.

I simply cannot say enough positive things about DLR Metalworks! If you're looking for quality custom design and fabrication (that's a fair price), then I highly recommend DLR Metalworks!

Thanks again Dustin!

Attention to detail, great communication, outstanding quality. Dustin fabricated metal brackets for my motorcycle and they ended up being exactly what I needed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, meticulous and the end result was a great set of saddlebag mounts and one happy customer (with more to follow, I'm sure!). My go-to for metal fabrication projects going forward.

Dustin isn't your average offroad/custom fabricator. He turns sheets of steel and tubing into a functional piece of art. I approached him for my rock sliders and rear bumper for my fj cruiser and he has fabricated tbem not only to my desired spec and requirements for protection but also exceeded my expectation with additional attention to design and cohesion with the vehicles aesthetics and unique nature.

Dustin is an honest businessman and a well skilled fabricator, I highly recommend him for any of your off road, overland fabrication needs.

I came to Dustin for a fire pit. He had a couple designs already and showed me this collapsible option that was robust and fit for a back yard fire pit. I worked with him to ensure I was following the St. Albert fire pit guidelines and he came through no problem. The pit also came with a custom cover suitable for cooking on. This baby EMITS heat. Perfect for summer nights and even winter fires. Really happy with this simple yet effective design. Thanks Dustin!

DLR Metalworks has completed several projects for me over the past two years, and I have been completely blown away by his attention to detail and dedication to his craft. Aluminum and steel projects have both come back extremely effective, yet simple, and nothing is ever bulky or overweight. An aluminum trailer that had some cracked welds was quickly repaired to higher standards than the original work, and has been holding up strong for years of repeated abuse by me in my off-road travels.
From helping strengthen my Skidoo Skandic Frame, to building a new base for an ice fishing auger rack for the same Skidoo or my ATV and plenty of other challenges I have presented, he is prompt with his work and delivers results that are functional, durable, and attractive.

If I had left a review for each project DLR Metalworks has done for me, they would have all received 5 Stars, and glowing reviews. You won't be disappointed with whatever project you bring forward to Dustin and DLR Metalworks!

I have been trying to find someone on and off for 7 years to come and make a gate out of the metal fence in our backyard onto the park area behind us. Other companies would not return calls or give estimates and not get back to me. Finally I got in touch with Dustin from DLR and within a couple weeks I had my gate. Welded, hinged, with a lock. Couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism and his ability to figure out exactly what I wanted. Thanks a bunch Dustin!

Sandra Briggs

A huge thank you to Dustin for designing and crafting this beautiful wall art for our family. Dustin is extremely talented and his work is true perfection. I would highly recommend Dustin to anyone looking for a work of art for your home!

Have been really happy with Dustins work. If you’re looking for something custom fabricated that will last a lifetime highly recommend DLR metalworks. Dustins attention to detail and finished build quality is amazing.

Referred to me by a good friend. I Contacted DLR Metalworks for a customized L bracket for our camper-van’s shelf / sofa bed extension. The bracket was well designed & exactly what I’ve envisioned.
