Some of the best evenings happen around a fire – phones down, faces lit up, nobody in a hurry to go inside. The thin big-box fire pit that warps and rusts through in a season or two doesn’t earn a place in those memories.
I build custom fire pits in Edmonton, Alberta that do. Each one is made from a minimum of 3/8″ thick steel – heavy enough to shrug off the heat and last 50+ years – and designed around the way your family actually gathers.
No two of my fire pits are the same, because no two clients are. You might want a clean 36″ ring for a tight group, a larger pit with custom cutouts that throw firelight across the yard, or a full cooking setup. Whatever you picture, here’s some of what we can build in:
Although the investment to build is substantial, viewed over the usable lifespan of the fire pit – easily 50+ years – it’s quite economical. You’re not buying a fire pit every few seasons. You’re buying the last one.
How thick is the steel? I build with a minimum of 3/8″ thick steel, which is a big part of the formula that makes these last 50+ years instead of warping through like thin store-bought pits, or rusting through like thinner custom made firepits.
Can I cook on it? Absolutely. From swing-away grates to griddles and grilling attachments, I can set your pit up for cooking over the fire.
Can you build my own design? That’s the point. Bring a sketch, a photo, or a rough idea and we’ll shape it into your one-of-a-kind fire pit.
