As big as you want, we build to suit. We recommend no larger than a 4500lb UTV winch. The headache rack itself is stronger than the truck box.
The most secure method is 3-4 holes drilled through the top edge of your truck box, with high grade fasteners securing the headache rack side rails to your truck box. Other options may be available depending on the application.
